Vocational Options

Horticulture
This option includes learning about planting seeds, crop rotation, companion planting, looking after plants as they grow and harvesting fresh produce.

Small Animal Care
This option includes learning about how to take care of different animals by feeding, grooming and nurturing them and ensuring their home is clean and safe.

Practical Independence Skills
This option helps you develop skills which you can apply in your daily life such as changing lightbulbs, hanging shelves, and other DIY tasks. It is particularly useful for those learners that may want to move into independent or supported living.

Creative Studies
This option allows you to express yourself using a range of creative techniques such as painting, drawing and design. Learners will develop a creative project as part of this option.

Drama
This option covers various areas of the performing arts such as singing, dancing and acting. The sessions will help you improve communication, work on personal targets and make new friends. You will also have the chance to showcase your new talents at an end of term production.
